New Producer - Feedback Appreciated :)

Tue Jan 22, 2019 11:28 pm

Hello guys! I`m new to the forum, just wanted to introduce myself to you guys, I`m a developing producer, and artist manager and music distributor lol. I do a bit of everything, @joagymshoe told me I should join and share my music with you guys.
I just released a bunch of music with Planet Asia, Ruste Juxx, Rim The Villain, etc as features for a group I worked with from London, Dantian Collective, I produced their whole album INITIUM.

https://soundcloud.com/onepluglondon/wh ... -from-them - This is my own beat that I done with my partner Sub One.

And what I released for these boys is not my beats but its my executive production, meaning song arrangements and mixing and mastering.

https://soundcloud.com/onepluglondon/da ... sia-paper2
https://soundcloud.com/onepluglondon/da ... al-assault

The rest is on my SoundCloud, which I just started, I will follow back anyone who wants to follow me - https://soundcloud.com/onepluglondon

Thanks I hope you fux with the music and really looking forward to hear your opinions.

Yes, I plan to release them in a month on the western stores and Chinese Stores.
I just released them on Soundcloud to see how the market reacts to them and see if they fuck with it.
I REAALLLY appreciate you listening and taking time from your day for that and more because you liked it.

Thank you

Hey Dudette!.

So you want feedback on your music?..
I´ll give my humble subjective opinion.
starting with the track you made yourself with ypur partner..
it dope!.. vocals and most of the mix are sweet..
only thing tat might be awry is. the snare might be a lil´ too timid.. and gets snowed under by the vocals in parts..
could use some more snap / punch.
the hat choice I mighta chosen a different one.. it might possibly be better layered with a lower freq.hat.
it might be good woth a little spread on the drums..

Paper- vocal mix is nice!..
there´s something with the reverb on the kick drum that fills the space in way that sounds a bit ´messy´ (?')

Verbal Assault - ill beat..
it´s not coming accross as good as it could I think..
most of the instru is in the middle ..it could use some stereo enhancement perhaps.
I think the snare could smack a tad more
mayne a lil more high frq in the ride-hats..
make the (drum) beat a little more aggressive overall to fit the hard raps.

I listened on beyerdynamic DT880´s semi open headphones

pz!

Welcome aboard Webfae. :)

These are all sounding good. Nicely mixed and mastered. 8-)

I agree with Joa that the drums in your beat could do with being a bit more meaty, or at least get some distortion and grit on them?

Hope you get a chance to join in with our beat battles. :headphone2:

I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS.
The problem with a lot of beats I have on this project is the lack of stems provided by the producers, all love to them but its hard to work without stems and trying to recreate a beat. I m learning so this means so so much to me. And yes the snares... I know someone else told me the same, still learning :) Thank you so much for taking the time.
