Hey what's up people?

So I'm still having trouble with my Akai MPD 32 controller,

I get mad ghost data from it, for example if there is an audio track it will solo it randomly, certain tracks will get turned down, or panned to one side.

So it seems that a knob, a button and a fader is getting crazy data for some reason?

I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the signal to the controls ? cc or what ever it is some how maybe in the controller or in Logic?

Any ideas people...

peace.

Whats up people?
Anyone done surgery on their stuff?
Has anyone ever replaced a circuit board on any of their equipment?

My controller is still being awkward to use. It's pretty old now but well looked after.
I eddied the controllers and it stopped the problem, but I cant use them any more. :( not that I really used them that much. But would still be useful to be able to use them...
So I bought a replacement circuit board for the MPD32
.
Just waiting for it to show up.
I've replaced my pads before.
And I've swapped hard drives and ram in my G4. So it should be fairly easy....
Just wondering if it will effect the settings and presets.

If anyone has any tips or advice that would be helpful.

Peace. Mox

good luck repairing the mpd!
my suggestion would be to deactivate the transport controls until you've repaired that thing.

Also I'm very surprised you're still on a G4 :O
:salute:
