Female synth pioneer Suzanne Ciani is pictured here on the back cover of her 1986 album "The Velocity of Love".
In the 1970's Her sound design work on the Buchla synthesizer was heard by millions on albums, on film and in T.V. commercials.
In a career spanning 5 decades, she has been mostly overlooked by mainstream critics but she continues to amaze new listeners with her albums and her unique, improvisational live performances.
