I hear ya for sure, thinking more what projects or even tracks were on heavy rotation for YOU throughout 2019, maybe that bestestess label is too much pressure
Don't take it too seriously, can just be what you feel deserves some extra love and attention from the year

I was going to write a bunch of stuff but ended up just making a collage for my Instagram
My top 3 are definitely JPEGMAFIA, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, and Danny Brown - the rest are in varying order depending on my mood
Obviously way more than 9 great albums this year, seriously 2019 was amazing! I'm sure every generation has this feeling about their own time, but the last decade of music is incredible and I know I will look back on as the golden era for me personally. I am very happy to have been able to live for this and I'm very optimistic about what the 20s will bring!
