I flipped 'clouds' as my main sample and also used a chop of 'pourquoi pas'. I added outside drums and bass.

some classy, sample flipping type beat, but also missed the dilla thing somehow

worked mainly with the James Ellis Sample, as well as some bits of the other 4 tracks

Dilla was one of my greatest musical inspirations. Really enjoyed this one. Worked mostly with the James Ellis sample and the Michel Colombier one.

I used the wishing on a star and the weird galaxy noises. Some Lil Fame for good measure.

So it's a non entry I guess (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Dilla week, always extra challenging...made 2 beats, both not super finished, but time's up for me now.
This time, I tried some of the following in what I think Dillas production can stand for:
More unconventional intros (he did make some fun ones), scratches, ofc the swing / loose feel / drunken style / call it what u will u know what I mean, some surprising changes in the main loop, one more of a samplish beat - the other one more playing with synthies and stuff...yeah that's pretty much it.

So much more I could add to this, but had to drop it as is (Push 2 was being a pain). Just wanted to get the vibe i felt best fit the samples.
