Sat Dec 12, 2020 9:23 am

I've included 4 dope samples for you guys - get them here:
https://we.tl/t-iCxb1cYksM

Thanks for the votes all!! And special thanks to F.E. Joose + Alinea for the awesome collab!

Rules:
- must use at least 1 of the provided samples (feel free to use them all if you want)
- everything outside ok
- keep it under 2 minutes
- MAX 1 submission and 1 collab per person. So you can make a track + collab on 1 other track at most.

Let's get it on!

The Fine Print:
Upload your beat to Soundcloud, include "STBB #***“ in the title, and POST TO THIS FORUM by WEDNESDAYat Midnight, Pacific time.
Try to leave as much feedback as you can and you will receive it back.
For easy browsing's sake, you can also go to the STBB page: https://soundcloud.com/stbbcollection
Label entries that are posted after the deadline as 'late entry' and entries that don't comply with the rules as: 'non-entry' in your track title.
EVERYONE VOTES - by Friday at Midnight, Pacific time
Winner: post new sample, rules, etc by Saturday at Noon, Pacific time and upload the sample here: https://wetransfer.com/

heyy.. great idea(s)!
I think I put everything in the right folder in Cubase.. but it's not reconizing it.
what is this rescanning part?.. that might be it... I tried to install another plugin earlier this week with the usual m.o. but didn't succeed either.
not sure what's up... do you have an idea?

I don't think I've ever used a plugin to make sounds before btw..I create in Reason.

Hey man,

Try this

... but doesn't reason support VST files now? I think you can use VST plugins and effects in reason, but i'm not totally certain. If so same goes for there.

Normally the default path for vst plugin on windows are either:
c:\program files\VSTplugins
or
c:\program files\steinberg\VSTplugins

I was aware that not all may use software which supports VST. But all major DAWs do. Are there no apps for the ipad which can read vst format?

hmm, it's only showing a list with plugins that aren't there..
Cubase 5.. trying all the options
I will look for more instructions on YT
I didn't have any problems installing To Tape 532 and 632 the other day.

if I can't get it to work I'll prob have time write some raps ;)

I use Nanostudio 2 as a daw. Its a major Ipad based daw. The solution is; Ipad only week in the near future. 😣

Step up your production game from an ipad. ;) Doesnt it support AU then ??

If other people have issues with the plugin / dont know how to install a VST plugin / have software from last decade etc let me know and i'll delete it and you guys can just do your stuff with the samples.

Congrats on the win!

I respect the effort you put in writing this plugin but it won't show up in the Logic AU manager, had no luck in Maschine as well... . (os x 10.13)

Any workaround?

Did you place the folder in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ and did a plugin rescan in logic?
Works in machine and komplete kontrol here -

yea sure, just like that
maybe theres a conflict with the included sounds, if the library is bigger its usually linked from another path, component sizes range from 1-100MB(at least in my collection).
just guessing, im probably dead wrong
