Introducing...

STBB 698 - Security Park Week

My Dad was in a band called Security Park in his 20s, and a couple years ago I convinced him to upload his music to SoundCloud. I think it should have a lot of sample potential for such a creative group

it's a good mix of Funk/Rock/Jazz/Jazz Fusion

Here's a non entry (i've used non of the provided samples) but i remixed/mashed a track from the provided soundcloud.
Its some kind of experiment as im learning new tools and i tried them ALL lol (RX7 & Serum for sample manipulation and voice isolation)

thanks for listening last week entry and im very sorry for not giving so much feedback but i was truly depressed and not very insightful.

Good luck, not sure if im coming with something legal for this week

Cool to have a set of samples from your Dad, that was good stuff. Pulled some straight loops out of the sample songs, and also made some sampler instruments.

Awesome rules this week and some really good sample material.
Your dad's band had a real good sound/vibe Sonic Skater.

I ended up only working with the downloadable samples...

I quickly cooked up something this afternoon.
sampled a bit of the Guitar parts and xylophone ? played out some drums and a single Bass note.
