thx Joa for setting up the battle!

congrats AVerma!

The following weeks I'd love to have an Ennio Morricone special, since he passed away recently, if any of the winners are open to that idea!
(will also post in battle stockpile)

Holy smokes... that was a lot of awesome classical to listen to... I ended up just grinning through YouTube and found so many great things to sample. Great pick!

I grabbed a few different elements until I ran out of memory on my PO-33 (yeah, hitting that again lol). The only addition that is not from Claude is the drums, which come courtesy of a Guns N' Roses break. I then ran the PO-33 patterns through a armada of Chase Bliss Audio guitar pedals, to in particular really wear the sound out further... compliments definitely go to Condor for doing some EQ duties, Warped Vinyl for wearing done and warbling some of the hits, and Generation Loss for really cutting into some of the tape noise/wow/flutter. Mood provided some great inspirations that I was really hoping to add to the track, but it was just too much, and the track was becoming too complicated in spite of the cool and fun sounds.

My biggest struggle was actually running out of patterns on the PO-33... and I did think for a moment to record off each voice separately so I could mix them in and out... but ultimately decided against it. Maybe next time?

Hey All, I went with some DuBootie midi files. I second the Macaroni tribute idea.

Hope all are well. Peace, Hugh

Debussy sample: Etude N°1 "Pour les 5 doigts d'après Mr Czerny"

Chopped and filtered it, then added a drum pattern, bass, and percussion. Sounds like something I'd make in 2015.

Yo what's good people?

Some cool rules and sample choice :sax: :violin: :trumpet: :music:
I did a bit of digging and ended up using the track "La Mer"
I mashed this together this afternoon, found some parts I liked and chopped them up and played them to some Drums and a bit of bass.

:salute: :vulcan: :peace:
Peace. Mox
