Thanks samwise!

No live instruments with the exception of drums, effects, cuts, scratches and vocals.
(All else should be included in the WeTransfer - around 280 samples)
Good luck!

Awesome rules, congrats on the win sir.
Does creating pads with parts of the sample ok?
Iim experimenting all these weeks with a technique i found that i want to share with you:

Its basically looping a smooth point of any note and mold it with effects and filters.
Thats the basics about this subject but you can craft way more beyond that.

Good luck and have fun this week.

Edit: wow that some huge samples collection, NICE

Hey Zifhang, thanks! Yes, any manipulation, chopping, looping, molding, using parts as notes is ok. But to comply with the rules, you’ll have 2 make sure that at least 3 samples are noticeable (recognizable) thru out the whole track.

Good luck!

Man, I appreciate the work you did on the sample pack, but just throwing this out there--I love STBB because it really respects the art in sampling (which a lot of is choosing what part you want in the song.) I feel like getting a bunch of loops takes most of the fun and artistry out of it. At least for me.

Hey Larry, sorry to hear that. And I do understand your point. Almost every week complete songs are posted to be flipped and chopped. This week is different. What I like about STBB are the changing themes/rulesets. Maybe I should have named this contest “no chopping-week”. I chose to post all these already chopped samples to give freedom of choice and to get very different outcomes on the Funky-Disco-Trap theme. 2 me this is just another element of beatmaking artistry. But, yes... some weeks Im not happy too about the samples and rules. I get that. No bad intentions here!
