Put this together on the PO-33 in about 30-40 minutes. I just ran out of time... so it's a bit raw. Also, that 4 note polyphony limit is both great and pretty hard. All samples except from a chopped up drum loop came from what was provided.

i was battling an additional challenge - as I accidentally updated my mac osx my Live 9 version didnt work anymore
now i had to run with the live 10 demo with limited tracks and features, bummer.
gave one sample a low pass filter, added some guitars plus my current go to artist koffee. i didnt feel very inspired towards drums and details because I was mostly annoyed by my daw.

Here's our father-son collab "God's Horse - Zonnige Tijden". So very dope to work together on this. Beat 80% B.O.R., Rappin' and Mixing B.O.R., Lyrix and post pic; B-Dog. Props > B.O.R.!

based this on the Jun Fukamachi sample and took a synth part from Umi No Triton
Instead of a string pad I looped a little piece of the Jun guitar and pitched it up

Congrats Sam!
Had a load of fun with these rules. Used the second sample as a wishy-washy synth that switches into a more electronic acidy bass for the switch. The guitar switch handled itself mostly.

Congrats SWGWM. Great samples
Sampled both tracks. Used outside drums, bass, a few xylophone hits and ATCQ acapella

Dope challenge, congrats SWGWM !
Only drums, bass, vocal chops and fx added.
the one thing that might sound questionable as being a synth-chord is built from the umo no triton sample, while the main line is just the sample, heavily affected and pitched. other layers are mostly from the fukamachi sample.
Then I stumbled upon this Gordon Ramsey Burger video, chopped some vocals on top and used some FX in the transitions.
Overall I tried to stay in the same vibe & key in the two parts but give them a totally different groove and feel.
hope you enjoy!

according to reddit there is a ?180 days trial for the #10 suite available "bc of the pandemic"!
anyways, you'll love the new features in Live 10, I just hope you don't "lose" many unfinished tunes because of plugin compatibility
