Nelson Mandela Tribute.
Please team up in pairs. Solo entries welcome but please note that they are not eligible for the win.
The comp is open for an extra day for the sake of giving people time to collaborate, so entries to be submitted by Thursday Midnight.
So, Nelson Mandela is preparing a feast in the heavens for himself and 2 buddies.
You must choose 2 legends for him to dine with...
RULES:
Pick only 1 out of these 5 musicians to sample as the main part of your track
(I have provided a full track by each of the artists below for you to use)

Curtis Mayfield
Ludwig van Beethoven
David Axelrod
Miles Davis

(Samples taken from interviews, movie scenes and small parts of acapellas)

The idea is to collaborate 1 of the 5 musician's music from list #1 - with the vocals of a legendary figure from list #2 (So for example - Miles Davis & Bruce Lee, or Beethoven & Macho Man Randy Savage, or whatever you choose)
SPECIAL RULE Everyone must use at least one chop from the Nelson Mandela sample provided, even if you just use a few chopped up words and put in reverse! I guess you could call this rule Nelson Mandelatory..
Outside Bass and Drums ALLOWED
Use of external synths/live instruments ALLOWED, but they need to be minimal as the music samples provided should be the main focus of your track
Raps ALLOWED but no other outside samples or accapellas
No time limit
Have fun!
FINEPRINT:
Upload your beat to Soundcloud, include "STBB ###“ in the title, and post in this forum by THURSDAY Midnight, Pacific time.
Give feedback and you will receive it back.
