These samples were super heat, figured I'd take advantage of the acapella allowance cause it doesn't come around all that often ha

Dope samples. Used mainly the first one, with some guitar from the second.

The bassline/lead line is built from/with the „Half’s Autumn“ sample, heavily affected and pitched. Stumbled across the Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz Acapella, warped it and left Ableton’s metronome on accidentally. Thats when it made *click* (wow, what a pun) and where the main idea came from. Recorded ablutions clique them click and layered up to three stacks of plucky metronomes on top of each other.
In the end I sampled Kenny beats’ recent stream where he forgot to turn down the volume of his metronome, the second inspiration that lead to the tune.
While it does not sound like that, the 2 samples are all over the place in the tune, be it percussive or layered…
Oh and the almost obscure vocal sample in the first part - what do you think it actually says? (Cause I have no idea any more)
My first, less in-your-face beat-sketch will be up soon as a non entry too.

Here a non-entry, kind of a leftover of the beat exchanges with my collabo partner in crime MzFk. Seems fun enough to not let it rot on the harddrive. Chose the acapella by coincidence but realized afterwards that the beat does have a 2000ish slim shady vibe. At least for me.
