I recognize that chrono trigger secret of the forest track--we used it for week 396
Man you got a good memory. Do you (or anyone else) remember what the other sample was from that round? I flipped it at the time but only seem to have a mp3 demo of the beat and not the project folder.

that chrono trigger album is fire and that's why it's one of the most sampled game soundtracks ever.

not home atm but will prob be able to let you know in a week's time provided the file is named.

Hey folks! First time submitting a beat for one of these. Always been quite intimidated by the standard, but looking forward to doing more!
I used the Northern Hemisphere track from the sample pack and used some bits from Street Fighter too.

Peace

Soundtrack here ------> https://youtu.be/HtG03Kue8Vc

Dope pack and rules this week I only used smaller elements from the pack tho with a lot of filters and stuff the main sample is from Syndicate.

Congrats on the win kifferei/metadepth

Fun week!
Never been a fan of Drum & Bass but somehow ended up making something of that nature. I think the samples took me there

Hey All, I am more of the Atari generation vs. snes. Even though I was kinda lost in space at this time I do remember Ken getting a snes and a whole lotta Street Fighter II going down. His girlfriend had a baby around this time. That baby is almost 30 now. DAYUUMM! I went with the ice cave chant and this classic from Donkey Kong Country. If you have 10 hours to spare here it is.

The SNES was released in Japan in Nov. 90, later in 91 in the U.S around the same time as 'Nevermind". Whoa. Justify My Love by Madonna was a #1(Late 90) around this time. Getting all nostalgic and shit.

Happy Thanksgiving STBB Family. I am thankful for these weekly events. Peace, Hugh

Yo people whats good???

I Mashed up something this afternoon, I used the DK Cave and Map samples and also some star fox is mashed in there...

( I never actually owned a modern games console when I was a kid, I still don't to this day. But my friends at school would have one... I still own an original NES though Yeah The 8 Bit one!!! )

I used a very small part as I was struggling with samples, maybe I need to change my sampling technique. :?
I made something anyway... :D
just the samples and some drums, and a good amount of layers.
