Was a tough sample but it was fun trying to flip it into something worth while submitting, all done on the MPC 2500

Joa and me joined forces again for this one. Had a good start, then almost gave up in the middle of the process, but finally got our act together and produced some heat.
Rap ofc provided by the one and only Joa. Accompanying artwork by my gf (yeah, I know what y'all think, I didn't do much for this track... zip it!!

he's very humble.. deliverd an awesome bassline, lead synth, lotta little cuts and even replayed an outside piano sample I had used!

I've always wanted to start a song like this but I've never really been successful trying it (I just end up making a confusing beat).
Shame I don't have the time to participate in this one, but I do plan on getting back into the habit of participating in beat battles again soon.
