Congrats on the win Kenja!
After last weeks experience i decided to stay on the sp. This one is recorded in 4 overdubbed takes. Samples, drums, bass, fx.
Not using loops was a bit hard but felt real good... Should do this more often
Bass and fx are from that tiny monotron...
Used only the snare from coke escovedo... hope that counts

Congrats on the win Kenja. I used all the samples provided barring the drums and my MPC 2000 booting up FX at the beginning. The bass was sampled from the "No One To Depend On" track and I used the "Sunny" sample for the main focus point. The samples were loaded and chopped on the MPC 2500 before adding some FX's to the "I Get Lifted" Sample then resampled into the MPC 2000 and voila
Looking forward to checking out this weeks entries

Yo! what's popping people ???
Liking the rules this week and the sample are short and sweet! nice one.
Got busy this afternoon and mashed up something. Whacked some Drums in there, used all three samples used, and some BASS! I used 3 wave forms , Square, Sine and a triangle, with filters and FX
hahahahahaha
Good luck people.

Congrats on the win Kenja!
Very dope theme/samples/rules this week, I couldn't miss it when I saw it.
I took drums and percussion from Coke Escovedo (how dope is that one hat?!)
For the main loop I took pieces from Ferrante and Teicher and added some vibraphone.
Latimore and a synth for the intro part, and basslines...
