Top Gun Score Week
Remember seeing this in the theater when it came out. It was a big influence in the mid-late 80s through the early 90s. Holds up pretty well visually.

Hey All, Congrats Wig on the win and love the theme. The 80's hold a special place in my heart as i guess it does for most who came of age at that time. I am not the type to say what is better or worse but for myself the 80's were where it was at.

hes allready been killin it way back when i took a first glimpse at stbb, in like #220? or somethin.
there was a quite big 1 on 1 championship that he won if i remember correctly (too bad that Jank didnt pass the archives...).
however, i was really impressed how authentic those beats sounded, just thought i was doin some garbage ringtones
i scratched mine and went back trying to step my shit up...
so im stoked to pass the torch!

wow guys thanks yeah I did have a bunch of wins pre-2010, or whenever ST started promoting the battle on their homepage, bringing in some heavy hitters. I know I was second place in all-time wins at some point I had a dozen or so. kow that's crazy man yeah I do remember that tournament I think I lost in the finals can't remember who won though. there were some great producers if anyone remembers bill from the uk he was like dj premier around here on the 2000xl. sugoisounds too. wonder what happened to those guys
