Still feeling pretty vague on poly rhythm but I think I do it a whole bunch in my songs anyways so I'ma see what I can do
Yeah us beatmakers often naturally do when we we layer up multiple chops of samples which have different rhythms, or we play chops in a polyrhythmic way against our beat without possibly actively realising we are doing it.

If you still aren't sure maybe just try experimenting with playing some chops on top of some drums at a different time signature? Or even just playing some triplet drums on a 4/4 beat would still meet the rules for this weeks STBB. :drum:

Hey polyrhytmic dance acrobats,

here's my entry for this week. I watched the one tutorial and thought I got it and then was confused after the other one. So I'll say it like KSG - tell me when I fucked up :D

I chopped up something silly to make y'all dance and hopefully forget to count the chops  :peace:

Props to Kow for the samples! Cheers

PS: the second sample hides in 2 vocal chops in the beginning and somewhere in between.

Oh wowza, this is definitley my best track yet. :D Thanks so much to Joa for providing these samples, both which I used for all my musical and vocal parts bar the bassline which I played, and to Kow for the great polyrhythmic challenge. I used it on my percussion tracks which repeat after 7 bars rather than the 8 of the rest. :drum:

so for the first beat i made the pattern in 3/3 then made some weird drums with it, still not sure if that count lol. Then i made another beat to use both of the samples
