Hey fellow time travelers,

thanks to everyone who participated in this week. I felt to me like everybody stepped his game up a lot and really showed off what to squeeze or chop out of the given sample. :drum: :medal:
I really appreciate the creativity around here and I feel like we are already on some heavy "rhythm roulette" type of shit in many ways! :D (if you don't know what that is, plz youtube it)
So enough talking, here goes my vote.

1. kowalzki. pure flames. they way the sample is chopped and mixed. and then how guilty comes in - i almost collapsed. :fire:
2. granny david - really unique chops to me and a nice groove which got stuck in my mind
3. elgo the dragon - heavy boombap tune, simple but neckbreaking!

I went with the tunes that got stuck in my head, here are some I especially enjoyed musicality/production/mixing-wise:
KSG
FatvonFree
B-Jam vs. Enos
...

Thanks for the votes and feedback.
Loads of good entries this week props to all the noobs and comeback kids always good to hear new styles :peace:

1. Buddah Killah - That golden era shit! Cuts, Drums and Chops all dope boom bap at its best
2. Psycho - Really dig your sample arrangement and drums are crisp
3. Gait - That rumbling bass and rhymes are so gritty, diggin it.

elgo - great snappy drums, Stoffa - lots of energy and fun, Salt - smooth bass line rhymes work well too, Vuzel - really cool chops lots of elements all used really well, NWDK - love the build I was expecting a heavy drop but still really enjoyed it, Super Sen - one of the most original flips only just our of my top 3, Garvie - these raps are slick! is that you?

Had such fun listening to all these; probably ran the whole playlist ten or more times these last couple days - anyone else notice that some tracks yo can hear once and go 'alright' actually become real faves with repeat listens?
Anyways, there wasn't one track in the whole list that wasn't worth hearing multiple times. Great work evryone and really fun sample to flip Sen! Congrats, and congrats to whoever takes out this week!

Loved this challenge. Lots of :fire: . Had this on rotation today.

Really hard to choose. So first, shouts to:

saltmcgault (O.C. worked really with with the beat), Stoffa da Chef (dat bounce , great vocal samples), reudenz (loved the choice of DnB with the sample), Vrylic (love the choice of slowing down the vocal sample), Detritus Tabu3 (love that long build up), LooPiN4DaPPuL (the shit knocks, nuff said)

My winners:

3. Vuzel - really liked the chops, bass and the synth work

2. Gait - love the bass, and shouts to your friend BruvaBiggz for the verse

1. Don QuiXotE - really liked the bass work on this one

But really, :salute: to everyone

Man this was tough as everyone did a great job this week flipping the sample, so props to everyone! Like Joa I'm absolutely shagged out but I will go through and leave feedback on everyone's track over the weekend but I went for the following:

3rd: Kowalzki
2nd: SaltMcGault
1st: Buddah Killah

Honourable Mentions

Everyone else (Was too close to pick a few out)
