Diggin this man. 8-) It's over the 63 second time limit rule Sen gave though so maybe take the very end off?

I've got a feeling we're going to get quite a few entries which didn't notice that rule. I hope it doesn't cause anyone too much issue editing down to suit. :|
Can we just judge the first 63 seconds, n ignore the last 12 seconds lol? ... if not, I would just take the L, n sit this one out I guess.
12 seconds is probably OK tbh :) It's Sen's comp so he can make the call about how strict that time is. Obviously if someone is submitting a 1.5 or 2min+ track that wouldn't be OK, but a couple of extra bars should be OK hopefully.
Hey all, sorry to step in late. I'll excuse @KSGs & @RickyRomas track as they were the first ones to put it online. Just hit 'stop' after a minute ;-)
For the rest of us - 63 seconds is the rule.

To all: Please, as I forgot to point it out explicitly, it would be great if you could edit your STBB posts and include the BPM you used. (I know editing SC links creates a mess). Thanks!

Keep the :fire: beats coming!

88 BPM, 22 bars, exactly 60 seconds (took me a while to figure out why), hoho.
Great rule! I was really happy about 88bpm and wanted to go for some classic boom bap shit, but then I chopped the sample and put down a loop, and somehow it got me towards some dnb madness. Love to throw all that stuff together, synths, filter automation, filthy ass bass.... I kinda like the result, might do a 4 min version - the arrangement / buildup is rather limited with the given time limit. Enough boring words, here it is.

PS: This might be an unpopular opinion, but I will just vote for beats <=63 seconds. To quote NAS: It was written.

Yep, Joa, you're right I overlooked that. I included Ricky now as well, as shown above.

Congrats on the win!

Kinda hard to deal with that sample. Was fun though.

Hey All, Congrats on the win and cool rule. My track may be the slowest but I can still count to 63. Peace, Hugh

Congrats on the W Sen!!

Dope rules and the sample was nice. That saved me a ton of time and a few gray hairs and many curse words. I also popped the cherry of the newest member of the saltmine (moog subsequent 37) with the bass line.:) I'm looking forward to seeing the heat everybody brought with this one! . Time for some aspirin and bed!!! :o

PEACE
