- Ensure at some point you can make out a steel pan being incorporated into the beat

I actually think the entire beat is made of steel pans? sounds like filtered pans turned into reverb-y pluck-y chords and later on I think some filtered melody of sorts made from steel pans? for this im happy to let it slide unless anyone has an objection?

1. 5XVT. Can't wait for summer, thats all I got to say. Moody but sunny track, see myself chilling on a field in the sun 2 this:)
2. Bresk. Loved the overall feel and the way the steel pans glitter in compliments the beat really well.
3. GaucH Beat is STOMPING, love the energy.

great work everyone:)

just checking coz of the wording of your brief: 'ensure..you can make out'..
but it's at the winner's discretion ..so if you say it's a go it's fine..

My vote was based on the best use of steel drums as the main focus.

1. Tom Machine- crazy awesome beat bruv. The switch up on the drums the use of the steel D. Neck breaker right here.

2. Hesh - that drop with the heavy bass and the drums rolls Jeesh! steel drums front and center

3. 5xvt- vibes right off the bat with drums that slap and a dope swing. singing is dope as well with the synth bass. Production on point

Tough tough week to decide the final vote. Keep the heat coming. I could have just flipped a coin between these guys it was so tough.

1. Tom Machine - from the beginning to end, banger, musically my favorite, lots of personality, mix on point too
2. TWU - 90s vibes for me, was waiting for Q-tip to appear on the mic
3. 5XVT - loved the steel pan composition, drums on point, then the aca topped it off nicely

Honorable Mentions: Brotha B Da ButterThief, Hesh, Gauch, Jeff Crystal, Calc, Fire Lansky

definitely didn't make the steel pans a focal point, filtered them a ton and layered them with other steel pans i had in the archives, i'm good with changing mine to non-entry, all good. Just having fun participating regardless.

Great week seriously every beat was fire and unique!

1) Bresk - This remided me of classic solo rap album outros where there the MC would do 4 or 5 full verses and you wouldn't even mind the length lol
2) Kenja - super heady and almost tribal
3) 5XVT - so crispy the mix like Jermaine Dupri level
