STBB #821

Isolate Separate Remove

Image

found a cool sample and a half ( at least i think so..)
and put it through all kinds of free online isolators, stem removers and seperators etc.
also cool edit on my pc.
coz i'd like to use it without drums..
i partially succeeded..

so flip mix and match..

sample https://we.tl/t-DYtaIEa1fT

special rule:

isolate a vocal or drum or anything from a sample of your own choosing and implement it in your entry..

please mention what sample and how you isolated it..

and share tips and tricks..

i've found that isolating vocals sometimes gives them freaky sideffects.. especially if they're layered with backing vocals and reverbs etc.

here's a few I used..

https://vocalremover.org/

https://phonicmind.com/ < part of a file

https://audiostemseparator.maztr.com/ < short files

and happy Thanksgiving all!.. count your blessings.. archive your miseries..

oh, and use of everything you can think of is allowed..

I used the vocal sample ran it through NI Replika The bassline came from Andy Gibb. I used RX10 to get the bassline chopped and slowed it The keys are from Spitfire Labs Frozen Piano. Acapella just felt right.

Yo

What's good peeps?
Interesting rules and dope samples this week
Evening cook up,
Chopped up "Shadow of your smile" in to 2 bar loops, 56 small loops in total. (didn't use all of them)
Pitched it down -2. Played around with the sample until I had an intro middle and end. all 16 Bars long.
to isolate the Bass is use the cutoff in the sampler to about 38% I add a bass boast and EQ to cut off any high end at around 350Hz. Same goes for the sample but a low end cut off at around 350Hz
added drums pitched the main snare down -2, doubled the main snare track panned it left and right. Two other snare stacked together one sort of mid one high.
the vocals are from Run the Jewels Get it. using the vocal remover website.
BPM 83. :ugeek: :weed: :blunted:

:salute: :vulcan: :peace:
Peace Mox.

Hello,
I use Vocal Remover with the song "root down" by the beastie boy.
The vocal remover work pretty well, it's incredible!
From the track of the beastie boys I use only few sound and and chop isolated samples of the voice.
My funny tips :
This is something I recently discover while I was looking for acapella:
I used a voice generator from the website uberduck.com to create my own acapella rap voice.
On my track, I choose The Pusha T voice" , but there"s a tons of voices available, the rapper category is cool....
You have to test that, it's funny!!!
Here's the link :
https://app.uberduck.ai/speak#mode=tts- ... ce=pusha-t

You can write your own text (or copy a text from a rap which already exist for the test) and choose a rapper, after you can download the acapella in .wav
Sometimes the voice is really crazy realistic!
I advice you to test, it's free.....

Hey All, I have to say that vocal remover was a revelation. I chose the first 3 singers I wanted.
1. Cocteau Twins -Heaven or Las Vegas
2. Peter Gabriel - We Do What We're Told (I used some of the music only to sample also.)
3. Bee Gees- Too Much Heaven (my #1 choice)
I am definitely gonna try the uberduck fx. I would also like to hear what people's favorite software to remove tracks. Freeware or reasonably priced software. I do have audition so maybe I can watch some you tube videos. Look forward to checking everybody's track.

Peace, Hugh

used https://vocalremover.org/ for all the vocals (climax/sample) and combined them
bassline is filtered from original sample, added some keys/synths/fx etc

What’s good peeps?

Cooked up another beat this evening. :blunted:
Chopped up the other sample. Pitched it down -2
I use a EQ to cut of any low or high parts of the sample I don’t want. 300 350 Hz.
used the low end from the sample chops as the bass. Boosted with a Bass Amp and EQ. ( Standard practice for me…. Bass lines are not my forte. )
Added some drums and Edan “Syllable practice”. for the special rule. 88BPM. :weed:
