Dope Samples !!!

congratulations on the win Resubman. i used both if that's cool, added bass and chopped some drums for this one.

That track was fun to sample from


but sound seems to be disgusting... on my cheap inears sound seems to be alright but yesterday i noticed that the bass is over the edge and i thought my speakers give up...

Mixed it again



Now it's quite nice on my speakers but in my headphones the trebble is a bit harsh...

Congratulations on the win Resubman. I carried on with the "less is more" theme from the monthly 006 battle (Big shout out to Ruedenz ) as I had so much fun trying to squeeze a whole beat into 1.44mb or less.... I sampled both songs, chopped some drums and added bassline (all sampled in mono then pitched them up to 78rpm, resampled back in and then slowed down in the MPC 2000). This week I used 4.3 seconds of sample time and a staggering 351 kilobytes

Super fun! Ended up with two parts; first one is build around a flute part of one of the samples and the second is build around the chopped up intro of one of the samples in which I managed to find kind of a dark melody ish:
