Since TY (the UK rapper with the alias that’s probably one of the worst to google) passed away because of covid-19 this week, I thought I’d include two acapellas - please do them justice and do some great remixing!

I’d strongly suggest you check out his work if you didn’t already.

My Golden era was the late 90's early 2000 and we used to download tons of music from napster. Ty must have been in there somewhere voice sounds super familiar.I know he did a ft. on Roots Manuva as well. I will try to honor him with something as dope as the original beat if possible.This is the era of music I try to emulate the most. Those beats though.. holy crap batman.

What's up everybody? Dope materials this week! I've got a little bit of everything in there. I chopped up the vocal and created a little Kool Keith style hook as well. I wasn't familiar with this MC, but super dope stuff. RIP.

PS: That was tough using something from each of those music tracks! I think one was in a major key, while the others were minor, so I had to teach myself some basic pitch correction to get it to sit right. That's what a love about these battles. They always push me to learn something new!

Thanks for doing this. TY used to had a Facebook group called the Beat Inn which is how i got to know him. He's always supported me whilst developing as a producer. He was well loved in the UK Hip Hop scene especially.
