I know it says not outside samples but are vocal samples from documentaries/films permitted GD?
Yeah that's cool, small samples are fine. As long as the samples provided are the main focus :)

I saw a comment on someones entry saying 'too normal'.

this week's rules are very subjective, whats normal to one man can be fucked up to another, said producer could of gone completely out of his comfort zone to make something fucked up to what he/she normally makes.

hmmm, interesting.... :acid:

Had some fun destroying some sloppy chops on a SP...
All from the Samples except the "Ah" and some drums hits.
Congrats on the win Granny and thanks for these nice Samples.

Used this as excuse to see how far can go on reduced sample set.
I went too far.

The rule says No Time Limit, and I have hereby stretched that
rule to the limit of all possible acceptable interpretation.
I did for love of the music, I’m sorry.
Don’t Vote for me.

I know is so long, I expected you don’t have to listen, just skip
through and hopefully hear a thing you like!
To those who listen all through, please enjoy the jam.

Yo what's up people?
Fun rules this week, mashed up the samples into something.
Added some drums and also some bass for a change!

Good luck people.

Re: STBB #636

Laptop has finally packed-in. Will upgrade soon

I managed to salvage bits from a few semi-saved sessions before crashing, then threw them together to form something or nothing, just for the sake of entering.

No more using 15 year-old software on a knackered old laptop. Will switch to Ableton as soon as I get new gear

So the only fucked-up thing about this beat is the way it was made and the laptop used to make it on. Frustrating

Props to all this week! Looking forward to hearing what everyone did
