STBB MB #005 - Round 1 VOTE
Listen to all the first round submissions below!
Use this thread to vote while making sure to effectively utilize:
BIG lettering,
BOLDfonts,
and/or,
Crazy Colors.
VOTE 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
for 5, 3 and 1 points respectively,
otherwise your vote will not be counted
Voting allowed from 1 posted beat or 5 posts up.
You must vote in order to be eligible for the win.
Do not vote for yourself!
Voting deadline for this round is Friday May 31st at Midnight, Pacific Time (PT)
The top 2 scorers will go through to the final, which begins on Friday 31st May at Midnight, (PT), straight after the the finalists are announced
Final Round
The 2 finalists must remix each other's 1st round entries. There will also be a new sample provided for this round. Special rule: No-quantized drums
The final will be open for 1 week from Friday 31st May at Midnight, (PT) to Wednesday 5th June at Midnight, (PT) in a new voting thread. Voting will then run until Friday 7th June at Midnight, (PT).

Difficult Decision here i liked all beats in some way
1 is ruedenz for this nice soacey sounds
2 is psych seems to be a bit unfinshed but i can imagine to mix that into the next round
3 is granny d.
I am out on vacation so just on a mobile... no fancy colors. I will comment when i am back...

First of all a big thanks for participating to y'all. I personally really like this new monthly format and hope that it has a future. and thanks to wax for putting this thread up!
8 beats, all verY different, all great, difficult to choose...
1 nbtbl. man is this the new mpc? if so, i desparately need one. gold!
2 bjam. super dope track. and your ear and craftmanship for mixing is fck brilliant
3 samwise. laid back, fresh wavy drums, spring time!!

Wow, thanks guys! since Nbtbl mentioned he's on vacation I'll text him now...we do live in the same city, so maybe we can do an in person battle or something....just music though, I am weak af and he will kick my ass :X

Ok, here we go...
we all had a hard time with that new sample... So Krxs and me started with a mostly clean flip as always
than we hand it over to ruedenz, who did an amazing job on that second part.
So you can vote on the first or the second part... either way ... HAMBURG wins
