How does this work? Sounds cool

Sat Nov 17, 2018 7:26 pm

JUst wondering how this works as I see no topics posted.. Who votes? How are rules decided? Do you challenge a particular person or can anyone pick up the challenge?

Sounds fun!!

Haha, I think this is kind of a new idea so I'm not sure exactly what the rules would be for this. Maybe a sticky with some rules can be put together, give us some time to think about this one! :)

Any ideas on this thread could be considered too, let us know

I have been thinking about this one too, cause I think this concept might be a great new addition to the existing battles. Especially, if you can just start when you wanna. But voting is an issue.
One way to do it might be: One person (like anyone who wants to) starts a thread including rules / samples / restrictions / everything that is needed for that particular round. The first person who answers to that and accepts / wants to battle is the contestant (first come first serve). 5 full days + add. hours to make it to midnight pacific time. Now for the hard part. Maybe it is possible to find an uneven number of jurors that are willing to determine the winner - new ones every round. Let's say three. So three people write in that same thread, that they are willing to serve as the judge. Each one has to vote for one beat. So it's a 2-1 in the end. Not perfect, but to get the discussion going... :)

sounds about right Ruedenz!
Also think one could call out a particular challenge
to particular member...
for instance I could say

Ruedenz!
I, Yoni Den challenge you
to flip Rick Astley "never gonna give you up"
by this time next month, I shall too and the masses will
pick a emperor of Astley flip by popular vote!
Hahaha!

of course in this scenario is probly best to DM also!

ah, I didn't see this conversation before..
this is actually a thing that goes back years...
how it would work was simple:
one person would challenge the other to do a battle.
the rules were made up seperately for every occasion.
the challenger could do it or let third party do it
and choose the sample not to advantage himself.

a post can be placed in the stbb battle thread to as ask peeps to come vote for the 1v1 battle
